The Royal County of Berkshire Table Tennis Association was founded in 1949. The Association is affiliated to English Table Tennis Association Limited, the governing body of the sport of Table Tennis in England. Local leagues affiliated to the Association are:
Bracknell Wokingham & District Table Tennis Association
Maidenhead and District Table Tennis Association
Newbury & District Table Tennis Association
Reading and District Table Tennis Association
The Royal County of Berkshire Schools Table Tennis Association and any School League or School Club within the jurisdiction of the Association except such as are affiliated are in Good Standing by virtue of Rules and Regulations of English Table Tennis Association Limited.
The objects of the Association are:
- To act as the controlling and governing body for the sport of Table Tennis in the County of Berkshire subject to any over-riding decisions of the National Council of English Table Tennis Association Limited.
- To assist and encourage the formation of Table Tennis leagues and clubs in the County of Berkshire, and to promote the sport in every possible way.
The area of jurisdiction of the Association is the County of Berkshire as defined by the Rules of English Table Tennis Association Limited. (Note. Since the boundaries of Buckinghamshire Oxfordshire and the Royal County of Berkshire were changed, for Table Tennis purposes Slough has remained in Buckinghamshire)
